Partnerships

Empowering our community — one story at a time.

Through the DCTV Community Partnership Program, we collaborate with educational, cultural, public service, arts, science, civic and other community service organizations by providing them with the opportunity to tell their stories to a captive cable television audience. As partners, we will explore ideas that will successfully cast a spotlight on unheralded heroes and stories. DCTV Membership required.

DCTV Community Partners engage in cross-promotional activities that can include:

  • Features in online and print collateral
  • Co-produce workshops or educational events
  • Social media shout outs, promotions
  • Targeted communication to e-mail/mailing lists
  • Partner logo featured on website and print materials
  • Swap of membership
  • Customized experiences for stakeholders

The DCTV capacity building grant program offers eligible nonprofits an array of benefits that build organizational communications and storytelling capability and provides an ongoing presence on cable television. We designed these grants to offer training and expert guidance to the nonprofit community, which enables you to robustly expand your impact within the DC community.

“Grant Level” is the amount of money your organization contributes to receive the grant. The grant term is initially one year and requires a very small organizational match. DCTV will provide documentation so that you can appropriately record “in-kind” services in your financial records. Grants may be extended or renewed with DCTV approval.
