HOW DO I GET STARTED?
You must first join DCTV as an individual member or as an organization and complete our free DCTV 101 course. You can consult with our Membership Manager regarding how to join DCTV and the benefits of becoming a member. |
CAN I USE YOUR EQUIPMENT AND/OR UTILIZE YOUR FACILITIES? |
You must be a member of DCTV , Members have no access to equipment, facilities or services until they have signed a Statement of Compliance and completed DCTV 101. Both are prerequisite to all further training and assessments. Upon completion of the above, you may sign up for DCTV Training Courses and learn how to become certified. Certification permits producers to use equipment for and facilities in which they have been trained. |

HOW DO I RENT/RESERVE EQUIPMENT AND FACILITIES? |
Once you've become certified, you must complete a Program Proposal form. The link can be found under the "production services" tab. Fill it out and turn it in to the Production Department and a Production Coordinator will call and/or email you regarding renting/reserving equipment/facilities for your project within one week. |

WHAT IF I WANT DCTV TO PRODUCE MY PROGRAM FOR ME? |
You must still become a DCTV member and take our free DCTV 101 course. Once you've completed this course, you may consult with a Production Coordinator in our Production Department by calling (202) 526-7007 and inquiring about our Creative Services process. |

HOW LONG DOES THE CREATIVE SERVICES PROCESS TAKE? |
It varies depending on our schedule and the complexity of the shoot. As a rule of thumb, 3-4 weeks is a good amount of time to ensure that there is ample time to consult, plan and complete your program. |
