Children’s National Medical Center (CNMC) is the only exclusive provider of pediatric care in the metropolitan Washington area and is the only freestanding children’s hospital between Philadelphia Pittsburgh, Norfolk, and Atlanta. Serving the nation’s children for 140 years, CNMC is a proven leader in the development and application of innovative new treatments for childhood illness and injury. DCTV partners with CNMC yearly to develop videos about various health issues.


Center for Nonprofit Advancement:
  Since 1979, the Center for Nonprofit Advancement (CNA) has strengthened, promoted and represented its member nonprofit organizations throughout the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. CNA connects its members to the tools and resources they need to meet their missions.  DCTV partners with CNA to produce Connections which is a weekly, 30-minute show sharing the issues, the experts and the strategies to empower the community.

 

 

 The DC Children and Youth Investment Trust Corporation (CYITC) is the primary resource for developing partnerships that expand and improve services and opportunities for children and youth in the District of Columbia, especially during their time out of school.  The partnerships include public schools, city agencies, and employers, including non-profit providers. Since its inception in 1999, the Trust has provided grants, technical assistance, youth worker training, capacity building, learning opportunities, convenings, and policy support in the District.  DCTV has partnered with CYITC to produce School's Out, a show that serves as a platform to discuss and feature the best in DC's after-school and summer programs, providing best practices, tips and more.

 

 

Leadership Greater Washington's (LGWDC) mission is to identify and connect diverse leaders and stimulate their collaborative efforts through dynamic education and membership programs that promote dialogue, cooperation and involvement enabling area leaders to find effective solutions to regional challenges.  DCTV partners with LGWDC to expand opportunities available to LGWDC’s members and to highlight the importance of their work.

 

The Maslow Media Group, Inc. (MMG) was founded in 1988 as the first full service Production Staffing, Crewing , Payroll, and Video Production Agency in the country. It was established by producer, Linda Maslow, who saw the need for a centralized resource to provide qualified production crews to the Television, Cable, and Multimedia industry with a quick turnaround.  DCTV partners with MMG to develop and offer advanced training courses for DCTV members and to better connect them to the media field.

  

The Smithsonian InstituteFounded in 1846, the Smithsonian is the world’s largest museum and research complex, consisting of 19 museums and galleries, the National Zoological Park and nine research facilities. Since May 2000, DCTV has partnered with the Smithsonian to increase learning opportunities for youth enrolled in DCTV’s youth programs.


 


  The Washington Informer: Founded in 1964, is published weekly and reports only positive news and reaches more than 50,000 readers serving The District of Columbia, Prince George's County, Montgomery County, and Northern Virginia.  DCTV partners with the Washington Informer to create a bi-monthly television series focusing on current events and issues of concern to the community.

 

 


 Washington Film Institute was created to inspire audiences through film education and the cultivation of the cinematic arts. WFI does this by producing an international film festival, developing educational programs, and programming film events throughout the year.  The Institute was founded by John Hanshaw in the Fall of 2007.  DCTV partners with WFI to enhance training and networking opportunities for DCTV members.
